This pattern is for a multi-purpose scrubby with an outer ring of puff stitches to give it texture and a good working surface. I personally use these little things for a variety of purpose. They are great for everything from washing your face to washing your dishes. Depending on the yarn you use, they can have a gentle scrubbing surface for exfoliating your skin and removing makeup or an abrasive surface for washing dishes or scrubbing a stove top. They make great gifts or craft fair items to sell.

Any worsted weight cotton yarn can be used for this pattern. I prefer to use Peaches & Crème cotton yarn. Though it feels a little rougher on my hands while working with it, that texture makes a perfect scrubby when the pattern is worked up. Using an I/5.5mm hook, one 2oz ball of yarn will make approx. 7 scrubbies with some left over.
