Allie Top, a design born from the depths of heartfelt connections, between sisters.

As I completed the Mille top, I couldn’t resist honoring Mille’s dear sister, Allie, with a unique creation that reflects their distinct personalities. Crafted with a close-to-zero ease, and featuring a different neckline and edges from the Mille top, The Allie Top stands as a symbol of the profound beauty found in sisterhood. It represents the way two hearts beat as one while each embraces her unique path in life.

Pattern workflow:

Allie top is worked from the top down. Casting on for the back neck, left and right leaning increases are made on both right and wrong side rows to shape the back neck and shoulders. The back is then worked to the armhole with shaping, and placed on hold. Then the front shoulders are picked up along the newly shaped shoulders, the fronts are worked separately with neck shaping and stitches are casted on for the neckline, the shoulders are joined and worked same as the back. Here the work is joined in the round, with underarm stitches. The body is worked in in the round. Hem, armhole trim and neckband are worked with a crochet hook, in a simple picot edge pattern.
