Allura is a slightly cropped cardigan with clean lines and a cozy garter stitch collar. Knitted in DK weight yarn, its short body and wide open front make it perfect for everyday wear. You can layer it over your favorite outfits for effortless style and comfort.

This cardigan is so simple, so straightforward, and so basic—and that’s exactly the point. It’s designed to be a go-to piece in your wardrobe: easy to knit, easy to wear, and easy to love.

CONSTRUCTION
Allura is knitted seamlessly from the top down in Stockinette Stitch. After completing the yoke, the sleeves are placed on hold while you knit the body. The sleeves are then returned to the needles and worked in the round. Finally, the collar is picked up and knitted in Garter stitch. The collar is worked back and forth in Garter Stitch and it is finished with a optional icord bind off (but you can use any bind off you want).

Techniques used: Stockinette Stitch, Garter Stitch, increases (make 1 right/left), placing stitches on hold, i-cord bind-off (optional).
