Almond Kiss is a beautiful crescent shawl, worked top-down in fingering weight yarn. It is a true love affair between garter stitch and a simple lace, one of my favorite stitch pattern combinations.

♡This design was created in collaboration with Serafina Hand Dyed Yarns♡

This pattern includes chart and row-by-row written instructions.

Size: one size; measurements after blocking: approx. 196 cm/ 77“ wide and 46 cm/ 18“ long measured from center top to bottom;

Gauge: 25 sts and 40 rows = 10 cm/ 4” in Garter Stitch on 3.75 mm/ US5 needles, measured flat after blocking;
Gauge is not important for this project but it will affect the size of your shawl and the yardage. Make sure you have enough yarn to complete your project.

Yarn: Serafina Hand Dyed Yarns Supimpa 100% non superwash merino wool; 400 meters (437 yards)/ 100g (3.53 oz), 2 skeins;
The sample shawl was knit in Almond Kiss colorway;

Needles: 3.75 mm/ US5 or needle size to obtain the gauge; it is recommended to use circular needles at least 80-100 cm/ 32”-40” long to accommodate the growing number of stitches;
It is recommended to use needles with sharp tips to facilitate knitting 4 stitches together.

Notions: tapestry needle to weave in loose ends, blocking pins;

I would love to see your Almond Kiss shawls ♡ Please tag your projects #almondkissshawl and #yarnpoetryknits on social media.
