After completing my Basic Beanie Pattern - I decided it was time to test different stitches and play with different textures for beanies.

This Pattern is worked from the bottom up. The brim is worked in back loops only—like the basic beanie—to give a nice ribbed look that allows for extra stretch. The crown is done in the alpine stitch in the round to give a fun texture to the outside while maintaining the comfortable inside.

This pattern can be completed with one skein of just about any (4) medium weight acrylic yarn. Color options are endless.
