Celebrate the winter season with a colorful textured cowl that works up quickly and makes a wonderful gift. The pattern incorporates several different stitch patterns to keep things interesting and never boring.

Your Crochet & Knitting, Issue 23 is a UK Publication that includes 6 balls of fingering weight yarn, 58m/63yds each. Using the included yarn, each color is held double, which is approximately the same as a worsted weight or medium (#4) yarn. All 6 colors of the magazine yarn are used in the pattern, and all included yarn is used for the cowl (very little left over).

This pattern can also be made with a regular medium/worsted weight yarn, such as Cascade 220 Superwash Merino. One ball per color is more than enough to finish the cowl.

Your Crochet & Knitting magazine is available on newsstands in the UK or you can order a copy online at Craftstash.co.uk.
