15th August is the annual Granny Square Day, hosted by Simply Crochet Magazine, celebrating all things granny square. This pattern is my 2025 contribution to this day.

Use whatever yarn and hook size you like. It is a great scrap busting project.

Note: in the pictures, the square had not been blocked. It becomes squarer if blocked or joined to other squares.
