A beautiful mosaic shawl in the luscious reds and pinks of Amaryllis flowers. The shawl is knit flat in 5-6 colors of fingering yarn, in easy mosaic slip stitch patterns, and only one yarn held at a time. It can be worn as a colorful wrap or pretty scarf.

I-cord edge on the sides.

Materials needed:
800 yards of Fingering weight yarn in Main Color
Plus 80 -120 yards each of 5 Contrasting Colors in Fingering weight. (Or a total of approx. 440 yards of 4 or 5 Contrasting Colors.)

Materials used for the sample:
2 Skeins of Fave Sock, Sabrina
80 yards of Emma’s Yarn, Practically Perfect Sock, Bohemian Market
120 yards of Dream in Color BFL Cash/Silk, Candy Love
80 yards of Dream in Color Smooshy, Tex Mex
80 yards of Dream in Color Smooshy, Gold Experience
80 yards of Flock Fibre Studio, Rubelite

I suggest choosing 2 skeins of a dark main color,
a light (variegated) contrasting color,
and 4 complimenting medium toned colors.
