Welcome to the new Amigurumi Advent Mystery Crochet-Along 2019

The most wonderful time of the year is fast approaching, the time for making, sharing, reflecting and celebrating! Join us as we count down the sleeps to Christmas Day and fill up our festive stocking with treats for all our loved ones!

We will reveal the mini collection day by day, advent calendar style, starting on the first day of December all the way to Christmas Eve. Each day will bring a new original design, with a mix of classic festive makes and quirky cute critters, all working together as a set.

The projects in the Amigurumi Advent are designed to be simple and quick to make, with extra cute results. The instructions are written in US crochet terms with step-by-step photo tutorials along side.

Throughout the month do join us in the Ravelry group set up for the MCAL and on Instagram, where we will be on hand to answer any questions and chat all things crochet. We will also be holding surprise giveaways throughout the month, be sure to share and tag your makes with #amigurumiadvent2019 for a chance to win a prize or two.

Note on Gauge: keep stitches close together amigurumi-style, make sure no stuffing shows through the gaps.

The Amigurumi Advent 2019 is a Mystery Crochet-Along by Ilaria Caliri and Irene Strange, it will run from 1st of December 2019 until 24th of December 2019, advent calendar style.

The projects in the MCAL can be made with your preferred yarn, all the samples are be made in DK-weight cotton with 3.00mm hook. It’s up to each maker if they complete all the projects or just their favourite ones - work at whichever pace suits you!

The first Mystery Project Part will be available to download on the 1st of December approximately 9am GMT. Sign up anytime to receive the Introduction to MCAL, the stitch guide and the bonus Stocking pattern and any mystery parts released to date!

After the MCAL is completed the whole collection will be available to purchase as a digital booklet for $25.00 (+ any regional VAT).
