This beautiful lightweight shawl is crocheted in sections with 4ply yarn and a 4.5mm hook to make it airy with a fabulous drape.

It’s worked in wedges, with each wedge added to the next as you work - meaning no joining together at the end.

Each wedge is approx 60cm deep and five wedges will give you a fully wraparound shawl.

There are plenty of pictures to guide you through the process and there are no complicated stitches - just the basics.

The inspiration for this design came from May Khaw’s knitted “Australian Under Wrap”. You can find her on Ravelry as mathemaknitter and this crochet version was designed with her approval and consent.
