This luxury wrap was designed to be made with Hand Maidens exquisite Maiden Hair. The border is knitted first, folded in half, and then stitches picked up along the edge to create the body of the wrap.

The design is reversible so you don’t need to worry which way you put it on, and the feather design is mirrored to create spectacular wings.
I would recommend a silk content to any substitute yarn, as this will ensure the sheen of colour and drape of design is achieved.

As well as knowing the standard knitting stitches, you will need to know, or learn the following techniques:

  • Right lift increase and left lift increase
  • Knit 2 together and Slip, slip, knit.
  • Purl 2 together and purl 2 together through back of loop
  • Yarn over
  • Knit into front and back of stitch and purl into front and back

Pattern is written instructions only

Size is 74” / 188cm by 13” / 33cm long once blocked.
