This is a pattern for a wrap that features two distinct lace stitches. Although it is made using sport weight yarn (and size 6 needles), because of the nature of the stitch, the wrap is not heavy. Both of the 2 lace stitches show off “tonal” variegation nicely. The main lace stitch is quite distinct, so that if you’re new to lace, you’ll spot any mistakes you made quickly, and be able to fix them. It does have a “purl-back” row, which increases the ease of doing the stitch.

Skill Level: Beginner + - Intermediate (assuming a basic knowledge of lace knitting).

The pattern for the stitch is both charted and written out line by line.

The wrap was expertly pattern tested by Barbara Robertson, who can be contacted at: Barb.Robertson@gmail.com, and is known on Ravelry as, NanaKnits4Us. The yarn used in the sample was Lorna’s Laces in colorway, “The L.”
