★ Spots and stripes, no tigers harmed

What better way to celebrate the beauty of animals than with a cruelty free animal print bag? Animal print is so fun right now, and I love being able to combine spots and stripes in one design.

This is the knit version, worked in cotton with handy purse rings for the strap. A fun accessory that shows off your wild side.

✨ What makes it work

  • Spots and stripes. Two animal prints in one bag.
  • Cotton yarn. Cotton is the suggested fiber for this bag.
  • I-cord strap. Worked on two DPNs.

✂️ What you’ll need

  • Yarn: I Love This Cotton, Hobby Lobby. Colors shown: Antique Gold, Burnt Sienna, Black, Ivory. Other yarns of the same weight work if gauge is met
  • Yardage: About 280 yds (256m)
  • Needles: 4.0mm circular needles (24” cord or longer) and 4.0mm DPNs (2 for the i-cord)
  • Tools: Yarn Needle · Scissors
  • To finish like the sample: 1” rectangle purse rings (2)

⭐ Good to know

  • Gauge: 19 sts and 24 rows = 4” x 4” · gauge help
  • Terms: US knitting terms
