This pattern is available from lovecrafts.com for £2.50.

The pattern is for a basic sweater dress which is worked in one piece to the armholes in stocking stitch for the skirt and rib pattern for the bodice. There is a back opening for easy fit. The sleeves are in stocking stitch throughout, with a basic ‘set in design’.
The dress can be made in a variety of stripes with several contrasting colours for the hem, neck and pockets. For the grey and white dress I used 2 rows each of grey and white for the skirt and sleeves with the bodice in plain grey. I added touches of colour to the hem, neckline and pockets. The dark pink and white dress has a plain skirt and 2 rows each of pink and white for the bodice with a grey contrast for hems. The pockets match the bodice.
It’s up to you what colourways you use and the pattern would also work in a plain colour.
To work in the round: the skirt, in the round to armhole shaping then change to rows for shaping. The sleeves in the round to markers, then change to rows.
The tights or leggings are in stocking stitch with short rows to shape the heel and back. As Annabell is a ‘sitting down’ doll a lot of shaping is required for a good fit for the back of the tights. However, if your doll is not a ‘sitting down’ type which doesn’t need so much shaping, I have added instructions at the end of the body
