Annaplexis Drawstring Bag
This past summer I decided I really needed to do something about my cotton stash. So I started thinking up different projects using cotton and now I’m so addicted to this little drawstring bag. I’ve been making them all summer! All my friends are getting one for Christmas
It’s a relatively easy project and you can make it any size. You can make the bags in one colour only or totally go to town using up all your scraps.
Most of the pattern is suitable for mindless TV-knitting, but the pattern also includes some cool construction details, notably Judy’s magic cast on and grafting the folded hem closed for a seamless result.
I used up cotton from my stash, but yarns you could use include Scheepjes Catona, Super 10 by Petalouda and Drops Muscat
They’re machine washable and make a great little gift.
