The Grammatica Cardigan is a fitted, striped jacket with set-in sleeves and a tailored look.

The bodice is knitted sideways, creating flattering vertical stripes. Waist shaping is achieved through garter ridges. If you prefer a straight silhouette, you can work the entire bodice in stocking stitch instead.

The button bands are worked in linen stitch and double yarn for stability.

For the contrasting stripes, you can use a single solid colour, a variegated yarn, or even multiple different colours and odd buttons for a more playful effect.

The pattern is available in bust sizes 84-150cm/33-59in.
