I have admired and wanted to try Mosaic knitting for so long. If you have never tried yourself, this wrap is an enjoyable way to start on a Mosaic path. You only use one color at-a-time even though it looks like stranded colorwork. This wrap has 2 mosaic patterns that alternate through out the wrap.

GAUGE
21 sts and 36 rows = 4 inches (10cm) in both mosaic patterns.

NOTE
Worked flat. Start at one end with 3 sts. Every RS has an increase of M1L for the second st. All odd rows are RS and all even rows are WS.

Mosaic Pattern Charts are read from the bottom right across to the left for RS rows and that same row is repeated on the WS row, so Purl all the stitches you knit and slip all the stitches you slipped. The first block in the chart on the RS row dictates which color will be knit on the RS rows and purled on the WS rows. The other color in these 2 rows will be slipped purlwise with the yarn in the back on the RS and slipped purlwise with the yarn in the front on the WS.

Each RS row will have an M1L increase for the second st.

If you do not have enough yarn for all of these repeats or if you wish to make it larger, make sure to end with a Square Spots Pattern.

You can choose your contrast color to be the same. I used 2 different colors from Spincycle Fibres just to change up the colors.
