Apricity Shawl
This asymmetric triangular shawl is perfect to work on while waiting in pick-up line, waiting at the doctor’s office, or while relaxing at a coffee shop, in front of the TV, etc.
It is light and soft, has amazing drape, and the English Mesh Lace strips add a touch of elegance. The garter sections are easy; the lace requires more attention and is best done during free time, alone.
Treat yourself to a lovely shawl/scarf and the zen of its creation!
It’s simply garter stitch (with increases or decreases near start/end of the row) then switches to a lace pattern. Then it switches back. The final edge is half of the lace pattern followed by a picot bind-off. Easy!
(And as Rob used to say… shawls bring out the beauty in a woman.)
