This short sleeved sweater is perfect for spring and fall weather. It is worked in one piece from the top down. The yoke (top to end of armhole) will appear rectangular. That is normal. If you fold the rectangle on the short edge and then hold the neckline at opposite sides, you will see the sweater’s drape. See pictures below for the final look on child and women’s medium sizes.

The transition to the body of the sweater is made by closing the rectangle at the bottom of the folded garment. At that point shaping can begin if you choose to tailor the sweater to specific measurements through decreases and increases
