Architectural shapes and hanging leaves with the sun dappling through, that is what I see when I think of arbors. This shawlette is the knitted equivalent to that old world summer favourite. It has all the same elements and is just as classic.

It can be worn to cover the shoulders or wrapped around your neck to ward off breezes, yet Arbor is still light enough to be worn as an accessory in warmer weather.

The stockinette body constructed with short rows lets your yarn shine, while the leaf border allows your knitting skills to be seen!

The shawlette is knit top-down. The shape is created using short rows and the shawl is finished off with a lace border. You can choose to follow either the chart or written instructions for the lace.
