Warm, practical and pretty, Blossomy is a quick knit with a delicate stitch pattern and an eye-catching knit detail. Using three different yarns, there’s plenty of opportunity for playing with color and stash busting.

Materials:

  • Yarn: MC: 1 skein of Tukuwool Fingering (100% wool; 195 m / 213 yds per 50 g), CC: 1 skein of Rauma Finullgarn (100% wool; 175 m / 191 yds per 50 g), and 2 skeins of Rowan Mohair Haze (70% mohair, 30% wool; 102 m / 112 yds per 25 g). OR approx. 135 m / 150 yds of fingering weight yarn; 100 m / 110 yds in MC and 35 m / 40 yds of CC, and 125 m / 137 yds of fingering weight mohair yarn.
  • Needles: 3.5 mm / US 4 of your preferred type for small circumference knitting or size needed to obtain gauge.
  • Scrap yarn, stitch marker for BOR, tapestry needle.

The sample is knit using Tukuwool Fingering in Sake as MC, Rowan Mohair Haze in shade 00523, and Rauma Finullgarn in 4087 Peach as CC.

Gauge:
23 sts x 30 rounds = 10 cm / 4” in colorwork pattern knit in the round, after blocking.

Size:
Circumference: adjustable
Width of the band: 9 cm / 3.5”

Notes:
The band is knitted using the mohair + MC yarn held together throughout. The CC yarn is used on its own. The band is knitted as a tube, with the ends forming two loops that knot together.
