ArielTop
Sprog/language: engelsk/English (EU)
ArielTop is knitted from top to bottom, first the straps, then the two bra cups, after which the top is extended with the back piece. The top has a fine pattern that applies throughout the whole top and gives it a unique look.
Difficulty level: 1⭐️ out of 5⭐️
Needles: Circular needle size 4.5 mm (60, 80 or 100 cm) and/or double pointed needle size 4.5 (to tube cord)
Knitting tension: Two threads on needle size 4.5: 10 x 10 cm = 17 sts x 25 r
Sizes
XS (S) M (L) XL
Chest circumference (widest place, measured on own body): 80-84 (85-90) 91-95 (96-100) 101-110 cm
Armpit to armpit over the chest, measured on own body: 40-42 (42-45) 45-48 (48-50) 50-55 cm
Ease (negative): 5-10 cm, ie. 5-10 cm is drawn from your measurements on your own body, after which you choose the circumference below that fits these measurements. Remember that the cups should only cover the chest area, which is why these measurements are small. So, if, for example, you measure 45 cm above the chest (from armpit to armpit), a size small would be appropriate in relation to the measurements of the cups and the ease.
The measurements of the cups themselves: 37 (39) 42 (45) 48 cm
The circumference of the top with the back piece (ie just below the chest): 65 (68) 72 (75) 79 cm
You should choose the smaller size if you are standing between two, as it can also expand a bit during use.
Note: You can possibly follow a certain size in the chest piece and then follow another to the body piece, if your measurements do not fit these
Yarn:
The yarn spending is approx. 105 (120) 150 (160) 170 g of cotton yarn (Infinity Hearts Rose 8/4 (50 g = 176 m)), ie. around 4 balls of yarn (since it is knitted in double thread), but you can make do with 3 balls of yarn with specific sizes.
My ArielTop is knitted in the color 140 –Mint Green.
