Art deco style turban is a stylish hat that can be accessorized with anything you wish for. I prefer using different broaches, old or new. Art Deko turban forms from The Welt Stitch, also known as Horizontal Rib or Horizontal Ribbing. Art Deko is worked in the round, alternating either knit or purl stitch to begin every 6th row. One adult size fits most.

YARN & YARDAGE
Chenille 100% DK Cotton by Three Bears Yarn (100% cotton) 50 g = 110 yards / 101 m of DK yarn. Colorway is Blue Jewel. This yarn can be machine washed with cold water. Any other similar weight and color yarn works also well for this pattern.

NEEDLES & OTHER
Size US 6 / 4 mm set of five double pointed or 19” / 50 cm circular needles. One marker and one large sewing needle.

KNITTING
Art Deko is worked round from bottom up.

FINISHED SIZE
Approximately 23 x 8 inces / 58 x 20 cm.
