This coat´s texture consists of two different colored yarns joint with seed stitch knit. Nice thing about seed stitch is that it will look the same on both sides. This makes the knitting so much easier.

Tilak has no buttons. Knitting is done by joining two different colored yarns together.

YARN & YARDAGE
100 % wool of fingering weight (100g = 383 yards/350 m) yarn, like Maavillane lõng or Palette by Knit Picks, total of 800g - 850g - 900g - 950g. Colorways are fuchsia (400g - 425g - 450g - 475g) and orange (400g - 425g - 450g - 475g). You may use any other similar fingering weight yarn or different color combination of your choosing.

NEEDLES & HOOK
Size US 4 / 3,5 mm circular needles (2) and one optional crochet hook same size. Adjust needle and hook size if necessary to obtain pattern gauge.

KNITTING
Tilak coat is knitted in three pieces, a body and two sleeves. You knit the cardigan’s body from top down. Sleeves are worked from bottom up. No tapering around waist.

S: 36” x 28,5” (92 cm x 73 cm)
M: 38” x 30,5” (97 cm x 78 cm)
L: 42” x 34” (106,5 cm x 86 cm)
XL: 44” x 36,5” (112 cm x 93 cm)
Remember that blocking is essential to a successful result.
