As If Scarf

The As If Scarf is your new favorite statement piece for cool weather. This scarf is designed to be worn as a pop of color and style, perfect for those days when you need a little something extra.

This classic plaid pattern with weaving detail is knitted is done by working each row twice—first with your main color (MC) and then again with your contrasting color (CC). Instead of turning your work, you’ll simply slide your stitches to the other end of the needle to get started on the second pass.

You’ll begin with a I-cord edge and increase to the desired width, maintaining that clean I-cord edge as you go. Once you reach the right length, you’ll decrease to a point before finishing with a simple I-cord bind-off.

The result is a bold, modern scarf that’s both fun to make and to wear.
