This is an easy and lightly textured baby blanket. I started working on this as I began to feel better from a very nauseating first trimester of pregnancy. I had not been able to crochet or knit for several months, this little blanket was my return to creative making.

This is a baby blanket that will look beautiful, and with Lion Brand having several different color options this blanket can be worked up for either gender or in a gender neutral color. When I work on creating baby items there are several things that I look to include: softness, washability, and even the size of holes made by the stitch pattern. Though simple, this blanket covers all of the essentials to create a favorite.

Yarn: 3 skeins of Lion Brand Yarns- Mandala Ombre. 5.3 oz/ 150g and 433yd/ 315 m each. Or equivalent yarn.
Weight: medium 4/ worsted.
Hook: size N or 9.0MM. Or Hook needed to obtain gauge
Gauge: 14 stitches= 4 inches in pattern.
Finished dimensions of blanket: 32 inches x 36 inches.
