Aster Bonnet
Inspired by the tiny white or purple flowers from the fall blooming Aster plant. The Aster Bonnet is a simple & classic bonnet design, featuring a row of lace daisies that frame the face. 
It’s worked flat then shaped in the round finishing off with an i-cord tie.
Gauge: 14 sts/2”-14 sts/5 cm in larger needles, blocked.
Sizes: 0-6, 6-12, 12-18, 24-36 months
Materials: 
Yarn-Light sport, or heavy fingering weight (ply) 
Sagegrass: (MC): 80-165 yds/73-151 m 
Oat (CC): 25-40 yds/30-37 m
Needles-US 2/2.75 long circular or straight needles & 
-Size US 3/3.25 mm long straight or circular needles, and DPNs 
or 24”/61 cm or long circulars for magic loop method
Notions-Yarn needle, sharp thread scissors, measuring tape, stitch markers, small cable needle
Gauge: 
14 sts/2”-14 sts/5 cm in larger needles, blocked.
