The vivid color brings the textures of the pattern to life. The Astoria River is a short river in Jasper National Park, Alberta, Canada. It is an early tributary of the Athabasca River. The flows of cables in this pattern mixed with the loveliness of the blue remind me of the pretty mountain streams we have here. Therefore it’s very aptly named.

Worked in the round, Astoria River consists of both written directions and charts. Astoria River includes detailed instructions for the techniques used.
