ATHENS is a crochet pattern for a maxi dress with circular yoke and vertical motifs which look like raglan lines and go downwards to the very bottom.

Difficulty: ADVANCED

This is more like a manual, than a precise pattern - you should be able to calculate numbers if they differ from given in the instructions.
Reading charts is desired but not necessary (all charts are provided with written interpretation)

The pattern is written for One-size (S-M)

For bust- 86-94 cm 33.8-37”
For waist - 66-74 cm 26-29.1”
For hips - 92-100 cm 36.2-39.4”
Total length – 127 cm 50”

you will need:

1) about 550 g 19.4 oz of light fingering* yarn with 50% cotton/50% viscose, with 425 m in 100 g 465 yds in 3.5 oz
sometimes it can be mentioned as thread weight, if you’re not sure, choose by wraps per inch – you should have 27-32 wpi in 1 inch.
2) crochet hook 2.0 – 2.5 – 3.0 mm B-1, C-2 or D-3 or any to obtain gauge.

You will find instructions in both US and UK crochet terms in 2 separate files which contain:

-gauges and swatches
-stitch key
-stitch guide for clusters
-all charts drawn
-all charts written stitch-by-stitch
-basic recommendations for making a dress and customizing tips
-recommended steps of work
-photos so you could check up with them.
