Auditorium is a sturdy knitted backpack for all ages! This bag features a drawstring closure and two garter stitch straps that are easily adapted to any length you desire.
This project uses just two skeins of Halcyon Signature Botanica, one in each color. Finished bag measures 11.5” wide and 12” deep.

Auditorium is knit from the top (open end) down, incorporating a knit-in folded hem which serves to encase the drawstring. Once the hem is complete, it’s easy knitting to the end; finish with a 3-needle bind off or your favorite grafting method for a strong, seamed bottom.

Use this pattern as a blank canvas for motifs, stripes, or other colorwork! Just be sure to adjust your yardage if you do :)
