This is a classic style, knitted collar accessory, with a crochet decorative trim. It has few different options of fastening at the front and it can be made following this pattern with 5 different types of yarn. The pattern includes size and gauge chart for 5 different types of yarn, which are: Katia Brisa, Anchor Metallic Fine, Anchor Freccia 20, Anchor Freccia 12 and Katia Alexandria. But the collar pattern has been created and tested with Concept Katia Silky lace, during the test of Audrey Sleeveless blouse, which is lace weight yarn.
Also, the pattern includes written key abbreviation description of the knitted and crochet part and a digital stitch signs diagram of the crochet trim, with key abbreviations.

Materials needed:

1. Yarn for the knitted part.
2. Finer yarn of matching colour for the crochet trim or the same yarn if you are using lace weigth, like Anchor Freccia, Alexandria Katia or Anchor Metallic Fine.
3. Knitting needles: size 2.5 mm and size 3.5 mm
4. Crochet hook: size 1.5 mm for Alexandria Katia and Anchor Metallic or size 1.25 mm for Anchor Freccia 20 or 12.
5. Type of fastening, either a hook or a button.
6. Blocking mat and pins.
7. Two lockable markers

Cpllar circumference:

S- 41-43cm/16-17 inch;
M- 43-46cm/17-18inch;
L- 45-48cm/16-18.9inch;
XL/2XL- 48-53cm/18.9-20.8inch;
3XL- 53-58cm/20.8-22.8inch;
4XL- 60cm/23.6inch;
5XL- 63cm/24.8inch

The pattern contains the different sizes gauges of the five different types of yarn recommended. I have given here only the gauge of the lace yarn, Concept Katia Silkylace.
The amount of yarn you need is less than a whole skein and it is perfect for using your left over yarn.
