Autumn Adventure was born out of the desire to knit something cosy and cuddly that would work well with boots. This textured rib pattern is simple, memorisable and great for gift socks to help with fit. It is one step up from vanilla socks, so is ideal for an adventurous beginner or an experienced knitter wanting something mindless.

The squish factor on these socks is amazing, pretty perfect for keeping feet warm during windy and rainy autumn days, or for sliding inside of slippers and cosying up with a blanket.

The pattern includes x2 different toe options, x2 different stitch variations and instructions for a high instep heel adjustment so please read the pattern carefully before casting on.

There is a choice of 56 (60, 64, 68, 72) stitch count for the Single Rib version. And a choice of 56 (64, 72) for the Double Rib version. As there is less stitch options for the Double Rib, if you are missing your preferred stitch count, I recommend going down stitches as this pattern has lots of stretch.
