This pattern is now available in Spanish. Many thanks to Carmen, for all of her help translating the pattern.

Autumn Dreamer is a versatile accessory that’s perfect for transitioning into fall. Wear as a shawlette, oversized cowl or as a capelet. The unusual shape creates endless styling possibilities.

A unique 5-point design that features a beautiful ribbed cable pattern. The edging is knit in a contrast color in garter stitch, allowing the cable pattern to truly shine.

Approximately 450 yards of worsted weight for Main Color
Approximately 230 yards of worsted weight for Contrast Color

Worsted weight wool creates plump stitch definition and makes this a relatively quick and satisfying knit.

The special cables create a 4X1 rib that expands once blocked, so it’s highly recommended that you use a natural fiber, instead of acrylic or high percentage acrylic blend.

Shawl measurements: 46” width x 49” length, 28” depth from neck to bottom point.

Pattern includes charts and written instructions. A link to video tutorials on how to create a garter tab and the cable stitches is also provided.

This pattern includes an “open license” which allows the knitter to sell the finished item.

I also designed a hat as a companion piece to this shawl.

I have to thank all of my wonderful test knitters, who were critical to this design being published without errors. Thank you!!!
