Cowls are my shoulder season neck warmer. You know, when it’s not cold enough for a scarf or shawl.
This slip stitch pattern is simple and great for the adventurous beginner.

Approximate measurements are 60 cm (24 inches) in circumference and 27.5 cm (11 inches) deep.

Please knit a swatch if you are unsure of gauge and adjust according to your preference.

Materials needed:
2 skeins of sock yarn (approximately 180metres/200 yds each) in contrasting colours.
3.75mm circular knitting needle, 50mm/20 inches long.
darning needle and scissors
