For this project, you can use any yarn. The size of your finished Axolotl will depend on the yarn, hook, and tension you used.

Materials
- Yarn of two different colors (depending on what color you wanna make your axolotl).
I recommend sport weight cotton yarn, but you can use any yarn, in single or double strand.
-A pair of 6-8 mm safety eyes (if it’s meant for a toddler, embroider the eyes instead).
-2 mm crochet hook (or any hook that allows you to crochet your selected yarn, without leaving holes in your work).
-Yarn needle.
- Embroidery needle
-Scissors
- Tweezers (optional, only if you want to attach a keyring)
-Stuffing (polyester filling)
-Pins

Previous knowledge you will need:

To be able to complete this pattern, you need to know all the basic crochet stitches mentioned bellow (US terminology), as well as the magic ring.

ch – chain
sc – single crochet
sl st – slip stitch
inc –increase (two sc in the same stitch)
Dec – decrease (two stitches together).
