Aymara Socks
Aymara Socks are cozy, everyday socks featuring simple cables that add a subtle touch of interest, paired with a beautifully fitting heel. Worked top-down using the magic loop method, they can easily be adapted for double-pointed needles.
The pattern includes 4 sizes, based on stitch counts of 60 (64) 68 (72) stitches, allowing you to choose the best fit for your foot.
The heel is constructed with increases worked in the round, followed by short rows, creating a comfortable and well-shaped fit. Designed to be both engaging and relaxing, the stitch pattern becomes intuitive once established, making these socks an enjoyable knit from start to finish.
Materials
Sock yarn with a meterage of approx. 400–420 m per 100 g
Needles: 2.25 mm for the main body, 2.0 mm for cuff and toes
For best results, solid or lightly tonal yarns are recommended, as they highlight the cable pattern most clearly.
