Back when I created the Babbling Brook Wrap, I really wanted to also create a shawl version using this beautiful lace pattern. Originally it was the colour that was causing the delay in getting a sample made up, but as soon as I created this wintery pine colour, I knew I had to use that for this shawl.
I was then ready to cast on the shawl and finally make up the sample so I can release the pattern with you all.

This classic triangular shawl shape is so versatile that you can wear it cow boy style with the V at the front, around the shoulders or with a shawl pin or cuff to name a few.

The sample is made up in one colour, but would look lovely with a fade set too, using more than one colour.

If you would like a bigger shawl, you can continue in the pattern until you reach the size you would like. Please note, if you would like a bigger shawl, you may need more stitch markers and yarn.

The pattern is written with the instruction to add markers as you go, this is to make it easier for those of you who prefer to work with markers or beginner knitters. Obviously if you don’t want markers, please omit them from the pattern instructions below.
