Details
I love to design pieces with adaptive or universal design features. I started designing when my mother got diagnosed with ALS. I always wanted to make pieces that she would love to wear…but also that would have worked for her as she lost mobility and dexterity in her hands. I think that’s why I gravitate to cowls so much. They are easy to wear. Just slip them on and go! No fussing, just easy and stylish.

The Babette Cowl is designed as a companion piece to the Miss Patty Cowl. Named after my favorite TV duo. They are amazing on their own but a knockout combo together.

The Babette Cowl is a simple column cowl with the style amped up with fun stitch details. This piece is worked flat and seamed at the back. A column of bead/cluster stitches is flanked on either side by simple, yet eye-catching, Half Double V stitch. After the cowl is crocheted you’ll be working rounds of slip stitch to create the cowl edging.

The stitch design echos the Miss Patty cowl to they can be worn together seamlessly. The Babette Cowl is designed to sit close to your neck for maximum warmth. Wear it on its own for a simple accessory, or pair it with the Miss Patty Cowl to amp the style way up. Customize the fit and look any way you want!
