I think baby blankets are one of the sweetest things a parent might make or receive for their little bundles of joy!

A proper crochet or knit blanket can last years when well taken care of; and can make a super sweet heirloom gift to pass down.

Living in a place that experiences harsh winters, baby blankets take on new meaning, importance and necessity.

Having or receiving a homemade/handmade blanket can add special, sentimental meaning to it as well.

I’ve created a baby blanket for every one of my babies and I had a lot of fun creating this pattern for our fourth little on the way! I love the colors, and I love the scalloped edges that I finished it with! I’m sharing the free pattern for you guys below! Enjoy!
