Here’s a cute little outfit in two sizes to fit a 12” and 14” baby doll, which includes sweater with heart motif, leggings, hat with 2 small pompoms and socks.

I like the combination of self patterning yarn and plain yarn and was inspired by this Cherish yarn made by King Cole.
Or you could make the stripped leggings and hat version using up your stash.

You will need in total approx 100g yarn for the entire outfit
I used: Sweater 30g/35g, leggings 30g/35g, hat 20g and socks 10g.

This pattern would be great for anyone new to intarsia (block colour) knitting as it is an easy centred motif. But you could always omit the motif if you want.

The sweater has a small back opening for easy fit. And the leggings are shaped using short rows as most dolls are the ‘sitting down’ type. If yours isn’t just omit the shaping rows. This set fits a budget 12” doll and a 14” Annabell doll, but as all dolls are different its best to test for fit on your doll as you knit

The entire outfit is made on straight needles throughout.
