This is the baby version of my Spring Spirals Beanie. It was inspired by the lovely colors of Malabrigo yarn. In my search for stitches that show off such beautiful yarn I realized a simple single crochet in the back loop does wonders.

This pattern is quite simple as it is the same stitch repeated in rounds. It is great for beginners!

Stitches Used: slip stitch, single crochet in the back loop only

Note: The top picture has a different brim than the pattern and was made using two colors of yarn.

This pattern was tested for clarity, fit, and errors on the Free Pattern Testers board in October of 2012.
