Baby’s First Year Temperature Blanket
This temperature blanket is a year long project during which you work a small square for each day. The daily temperature of a specified location determines that day’s square colour, creating a beautifully colourful blanket. Unlike a typical temperature project which starts on January 1st, this blanket is meant to start on your baby’s birth day as a special way to commemorate their first year of life.
Skill level: Beginner
Crochet skills required: ch, dc, sl st.
A crochet chart for the daily square is included in the pattern.
A separate document containing a free temperature blanket planner is also included with the pattern.
Customize your blanket with different colours to create a project that fits in with your surroundings.
Please keep in mind that the exact yardage/number of skeins you will need to complete this project will vary according to the temperature and your location/climat. I recommend buying one skein of each colour to start and purchasing more as needed.
