Back to Basics Hat
A free version is also available.
The Back to Basics Ribbed Hat is a beginner friendly crochet hat that is worked back and forth in rows. The stretchy ribbed fabric is created by working single crochet stitches in the back loop only. Once the rectangle is complete, the side is seamed and the top is gathered closed.
The written pattern includes five sizes:
* Small Child (3–5 years)
* Child (6–10 years)
* Teen/Adult Small
* Adult Medium
* Adult Large
Both the free blog pattern and the ad-free PDF include an Any Yarn and Hook size chart with measurement-based sizing from 0–3 months through adult large. The baby sizes include enough height for an approximately 1-inch rolled cuff.
The hat can be worn with the cuff rolled or unfolded for a slouchier fit.
