The Bailly–Decambron Top No.1 is a lightweight off-shoulder top, worked top-down.

The garment begins at the shoulder line, shaped with increases on both sides of the work. Once the upper section is complete, the armholes are created and the body is worked in the round to the desired length.

This design is inspired by a classic sweater construction, but intentionally stops before any neckline finishing (such as ribbing or a fold), creating a raw, soft, and airy look.

The top features a slightly loose fit and a delicate drape, enhanced by working mohair yarn held double.

Sizes: XS (S) M (L) XL

Gauge: 14 sts x 22 rnds = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch, after blocking

Yarn: Lace weight mohair, held double

Needles: 5 mm circular needle
