Bajads is a tailored cardigan with both waist shaping and a relaxed, swingy fit thanks to the triangle detail in the back.

Everything is knitted in one go – no seaming, and only a very few ends to weave in. The contiguous set-in sleeves – long, 3/4, or short – are knitted in the round from cap to cuff where the triangle inset is echoed.

You choose somber or wild colours as you please.

I think most sock yarns would work well. I really loved knitting with Väinämöinen, what I’d like to call an honest yarn, woolly without being in the least scratchy.

Errata (English & German):
Step 4: The picked up sts should be p&p (pick up and PURL (not knit).
