A long, heavily-textured cowl knit with two skeins of the classic Cascade 220 worsted yarn.

The simple yet effective combinations of knit and purl stitches form a richly textured surface reminiscent of ocean rock pools.  It can be worn draped but is also generous enough to double over, and sit snugly against the neck.

This pattern is charted, and requires knowledge of the crochet provisional cast-on and Kitchener stitch or grafting methods (instructions not provided within pattern).

If you are not familiar with these techniques, there are some excellent video tutorials available online for your reference.
