This pattern is made up of only knit and purl stitches. It is an elongated basket-weave pattern. The pattern is a 24-row repeat. Work to desired length.

Knit with 3 skeins Juniper Moon Farm Yearling (60% Merino wool, 40% cotton) on size 6.5 mm/US 10.5 needles.

Worked flat.

You can work this pattern with any weight of yarn on appropriate sized needles for your yarn. A slightly stiffer yarn may show the stitch definition a little better.

I slipped 1 stitch knitwise at the start of each row, which gives it a bit of a knobbly, bamboo look to the sides. You can slip one purlwise if you’d like it to be smoother on the edge.

When joining a new ball of yarn, use whichever join works best with your yarn size/type.

This pattern has not been test knit. Please reach out if you see any errors in the pattern or chart. I try my best to make sure the pattern is accurate, but I sometimes make mistakes. Thank you for your patience. Enjoy!
