This traditional bunting pattern has a twist: a hidden cord sewn in to keep flags in place, as well as a fold-over design that keeps the back of your work out of sight.

This banner is perfect for events, photo props, or a kid’s room. Creative construction means fewer ends to weave in and scraggly ends on the back will be out of site.

Whether you’re a beginner willing to learn new skills or an experienced crocheter who wants to try some new techniques, you’ll have no trouble following these written instructions (no confusing charts). This pattern includes full-color photographs with instructions to make a bunting you can easily personalize with the Uppercase/Lowercase Alphabet and Numbers/Punctuation patterns (available here: http://www.ravelry.com/stores/jenny-r-brown-designs). Finished size will depend on the number of flags used, but individual flags are approximately 8.25” wide by 8.75” long (using supplies suggested)

This pattern includes:

  • Bunting Pattern
  • Pattern Details and Pattern Techniques pages with instructions and full-color photos
  • Attaching Letters guide, which includes techniques to appliqué motifs to your project, if you would like
