Barnsley Sweater Chunky
Barnsley Sweater Chunky is an oversized textured sweater inspired by country walks in the English countryside. The textured pattern is worked over 4 rows from the top down to give a beautiful waffle effect. First the neck edge is worked and folded over, then short rows create shape to the neck as part of the yoke. The yoke is worked with raglan increases before dividing for the body and sleeves and new stitches cast on at each underarm. The body and sleeves are finished separately and worked in the round, and the edges are bound off using the Italian bind-off technique.
