This basic cotton beanie is both easy to make and stylish to wear!

This beginner friendly pattern guides you to knit this beanie with double-folded edges. A soft cotton yarn makes the beanie perfect to use both in spring and fall and the double-folded edge keeps your or a special someone’s ears warm even during the winter, too! Because most of the pieces knit with cotton yarn can be washed in the washing machine, this beanie is super worry-free (please remember to pay attention to the washing instructions regarding the yarn of your choice and consult the yarn shop if needed)!

The pattern includes easy-to-read text-form instructions both in English and Finnish. There are three sizes available: the smallest is fit for children from 1 year forward (and because the beanie is knit with ribbing, the ease makes it possible to use until teens), the women’s size (which fit teenagers, too!) and men’s size.

The beanie is knit with cotton yarn of approximately 100 - 150 g in weight (three skeins). Please note that the given measurements and the estimated amount of yarn needed are calculated with the correct gauge (even though the ribbing gives a bit of ease).
